_ How can I link an online article to my client's digital listing? _

  • To connect a business to an online article:
  1. In ARC go to the Editorial tab

  2. Click on the Issues tab

  3. Click on the article

  4. Navigate to the Assignment tab

  5. Under “Is this article associated with a business?” click Yes

  6. Search for the client's business

  7. There could be multiple locations so ensure it is the correct business

  8. Scroll down and click "Save"

** This can only be done prior to the editorial deadline date. If the date has passed, you will need to submit a ticket to National Support

_ Why can't my client see the digital section in the customer portal? _

  • If your client tells you that they do not see a Digital section in their customer portal, then you more than likely need to add the Digital designation to their contact. To add a designation to a contact, please follow these steps:
    • Click on Ad Production/Billing/Other below "Contact Type" next to the contact's name.
    • Select the option to add the "Digital" designation.
    • Click "Save Contact".

What articles are included in the rotating carousel on my landing page? What determines what goes into the “Most Recent Articles” section?

  • The order of articles on your landing page is determined by the chronological order in which your magazine articles and premium client articles are uploaded.

_ Can my client have a digital profile for each of their businesses locations? _

  • With the way our system currently works, ARC does not have the capability to issue more than one digital deal per account at this time. Every account in ARC has a single City Lifestyle profile. The data is 1:1.
  • Currently, the best solution we have is to make multiple ARC accounts for each separate location and give each one a free premium deal. However, they wouldn't show up on your landing page. Businesses will only show up on your publication's landing page if the digital agreement is associated with a print agreement as well.

_ How does my client get a free digital listing? _

Your client can obtain a free digital listing through one of the following options:

  • 36-Month Print Agreement: Signing a 36-month print agreement qualifies your client for a free Premium listing.
  • 12/24-Month Agreement: With a 12-month or 24-month agreement, your client will receive a free Featured listing or a $50 credit towards a Premium listing. To upgrade to Premium, this would equate to an additional $250 per month.

_ Does checking the “Include in Online Directory” box ensure that the client shows up on the online directory no matter what? Even if they do not have a print ad running that month? _

No. They must have a print ad running in order to show up in the digital directory.

_ My client just signed a new agreement, but they are not showing up on my digital directory. What should I do? _

Please add an address to their account in ARC on the Details tab.

_ How do I upload content for my premium client? _

  • If you would like to publish on behalf of your clients, please view the customer portal as them via the Contacts tab on the account in ARC. Please note that the previous method of logging into citylifestyle.com to post articles is no longer available.

_ What are the dimensions of the logo and banner image on the website? _
